Audiovisual: Porto Franco Files

I created this video series with Peter Varshavsky of Porto Franco Records in the summer of 2011 as a promotional tool for PFR artists. All of the videos are live performances, most of them recorded with a couple of cameras and microphones in quick, informal sessions. In the course of making dozens of videos, I recruited bands and crew members, operated second camera, and recorded and engineered most of the audio.

The series was wildly successful, earning over 2,000,000 views. We also earned multiple features on the YouTube homepage.

Thanks to the success of the video series, Porto Franco Records established a new digital revenue model using the videos to promote mp3s made available through the company website and iTunes.
